The FSG Capital team is led by Bruce J. Winter. Bruce has been an equipment financing professional for over thirty-five years and serves as a trusted financial advisor for both customers and other organizations. He is a nationally-recognized expert on equipment financing and is an active leader in the equipment financing industry. Bruce currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association and also serves on ELFA’s Academic Outreach Committee and LeasePAC, the industry’s only Political Action Committee. He previously served as the first past President of the National Equipment Finance Association and received the “Most Admired Lessor” award. He served on the first Executive Board of The CLFP Foundation and was an editor of The Leasing Professionals’ Handbook. Bruce received his B.S. in Finance from the University of Maryland, College Park, and was honored as the recipient of the Model Citizenship Prize, awarded annually to the student who contributed most significantly to the advancement of the University.
Bruce serves on the Board of Directors of The Lutheran Church Extension Fund, a $2.1 billion non-bank lender which supports the financial needs of Lutheran congregations and church workers. He previously served as a Regional Director for Revere Bank, and was a founding shareholder of the bank, which grew to over $3 billion in assets before it’s successful sale. He serves on the Board of a privately held plastics manufacturer headquartered in Texas and has held the position of Treasurer of The Lutheran Church of St. Andrew in Silver Spring, Maryland for many years. His dedication and passion for helping business owners achieve success is shared by a management team that has worked closely together for more than two decades.
